Our people go to the field, sit with the design, work the permit, and hear back from the crew that built it. That loop is the fastest way we know to make a competent distribution engineer, and it is why our designs come back from construction with fewer questions.
Engineers here carry a project, not a task. You will make calls, defend them in review, and answer for them when the crew has a question at the pole. That is real responsibility earlier than most people get it, and it is the reason the work builds a career rather than a resume line.
Field time
Everyone, including engineers, spends time on the routes they design. It is not optional and it is not punishment.
Licensure support
FE and PE exam support, plus the breadth of project exposure that licensure boards want to see on an application.
Storm work
Voluntary storm assignments during named events, with the compensation structure spelled out before the season.
No mystery ladder
What advancement requires is written down. Reviews are against that, not against how visible you were.

Distribution design engineer
Overhead and underground design, sectionalizing, work order production and construction support.
Pole loading analyst
Structural analysis of distribution structures under NESC loading, guying design and make-ready recommendations.
Distribution designer / CAD technician
Staking sheets and construction prints to client standards in AutoCAD or MicroStation environments.
Field technician / data collector
Pole and equipment inventory, attachment measurement, GPS collection and condition assessment across Florida routes.
Joint use coordinator
Attachment application processing, audit reconciliation and attacher coordination for pole-owner clients.
Project manager
Program intake through closeout, schedule and cost control, client reporting and contractor coordination.
